Konser Justin Bieber akan berlangsung 23 April nanti di Jakarta. Nah, tak ada salahnya terlebih dahulu membaca komik tentang penyanyi belia asal Kanada ini. Judulnya Fame: Justin Bieber The Graphic Novel.

Disebut-sebut ketenaran Bieber bahkan mengalahkan kepopuleran tokoh komik Spiderman atau Batman. Sang penerbit bahkan terus mengeluarkan karya terbaru tentang perjalanan pemuda kelahiran 1 Maret 1994. Mulai dari masa kecil Bieber di Ontario, Kanada, sampai sukses menjalani keartisannya yang mendunia melalui coretan ilustrasi Claudia Avellia.

Nama Bieber mencuat dari situs Youtube. Keahlian pemilik nama lengkap Justin Drew Bieber ini dalam rekaman video memikat Scooter Braun, seorang pencari bakat yang kemudian menjadi manajernya. Album debut Bieber, My World langsung laris manis di pasaran. Berbagai penghargaan pun diraih di antaranya Artist of the Year dan Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist di ajang American Music Awards.(AIS)

Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Justin Bieber Berduka bagi Jepang

WASHINGTON--MICOM: Penyanyi Lady Gaga pada Jumat (11/3) mengeluarkan gelang untuk mendukung bantuan bagi Jepang. Beberapa bintang terkenal di dunia hiburan juga menyatakan rasa duka cita atas gempa besar dan tsunami itu.

Lady Gaga meminta kumpulan penggemarnya--yang ia panggil sebagai Little Monsters--untuk membeli gelang itu dalam laman situs internet miliknya yang tertulis We Pray for Japan.

Para penggemar juga diminta mendonasikan US$5 atau lebih. Semua dana akan diberikan untuk upaya bantuan.

Bintang pop lainnya juga mengatakan rasa duka cita. Penyanyi R&B Alicia Keys menulis dalam akun Twitter miliknya bahwa ia terbangun lebih awal pagi itu dengan nyanyian dalam hati, meski ia belum yakin akan bentuknya. "Hatiku hancur bersama Jepang," katanya.

Bintang remaja Kanada Justin Bieber menyebut Jepang sebagai salah satu tempat favorit di dunia. "Negara itu memiliki budaya yang luar biasa dan orang-orang yang menakjubkan. Doaku bersamanya. Kita semua harus membantu," tulis Bieber dalam Twitter. (Ant/OL-5)

La estrella pop Justin Bieber batió una nueva marca en las redes sociales al superar la barrera de los 8 millones de seguidores en Twitter.
Sorprendido por esta cifra, Bieber no dudó en expresar su satisfacción a través de un mensaje en la red social: “#8millionbeliebers WOW. Los quiero mucho chicos".

Esta cifra fue impuesta por la extrovertida Lady Gaga (8 millones 670 mil 518). Se espera que el intérprete de Baby alcance esa cifra en las próximas semanas.

4-year-old survives heart disease, loves Justin Bieber

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Over 36,000 babies are born every year with a heart defect.  Winston and Sondra Glover's daughter, Alexis is one of them.  As part of February's "Heart Month" for the American Heart Association, they're sharing their story to get the word out that heart disease can affect us all.

Alexis Glover has "Bieber fever." It's hard to contain this four-year-old on the dance floor.  It's also hard to imagine that under that tee-shirt is a scar, her badge of honor after open heart surgery.

"She just didn't … she wasn't acting right one day," Winston Glover remembered.

At seven months old this little girl was sick ...really sick.  A trip to Waccamaw Community Hospital ended with an emergency trip to MUSC.

"Of course the doctor comes out of the operating room maybe an hour after we were there and says, 'Your baby is dying'," Winston Glover said.  "She has a benign tumor that had fallen into her tricuspid valve."

Blood was barely getting in and out of Alexis' heart.

"She was flown to MUSC February10.  She was placed on ECMO, they put her in a coma, and on Februay15 they determined she was well enough to go into surgery," Sondra Glover recalled.

We're talking about open heart surgery on that little 7 month old baby.

The days that followed moved so slow for her parents.

"You have your highs and you have your lows," Sondra Glover confessed.  "You see her on this machine and you see all the blood she is getting.  And now you would never know."

Alexis hasn't had any problems since the surgery ... she's thrived even.  But her family likes to remember the life that was saved...her life.

"Every year on the 15th we let her pick where she wants to go eat and what she wants to do," Sondra Glover said.  "We have a cake made in the shape of a heart."

It's very fitting for a child whose heart has been through so much ... and beats strong today.

Young or old The American Heart Association is on the front lines - helping to raise money for new treatments.  This Saturday they're hoping the Heart Ball in Myrtle Beach will bring in some well needed cash for that effort - they want to raise $175,000.

Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber didn't score at the Grammys but baby, baby, baby, he sure did in the NBA All-Star celebrity game.
The 5-foot-5 Canadian heartthrob was named MVP for his eight points, four assists and two rebounds for the West team, which lost to the East 54-49, at the Los Angeles Convention Center Friday.

The 16-year-old's celebrity teammates included Zac Levi of "Chuck," R&B singer Trey Songz, rapper Romeo Miller and former Laker Rick Fox and Rob Kardashian, whose sister Khloe is married to Laker star Lamar Odom.

Belieber Fever teens go 'flat out' for their pop idol

As our picture reveals, some Beliebers would go to any lengths to catch a precious glimpse of their superstar idol during his five-day visit here.
Lying on the ground peeping under the gates of the VIP entrance at the O2 arena, Justin Bieber's fans appear heedless of their own safety as they try and spot the seventeen-year-old superstar.
Some of his fans have been camped out at the northside venue since last Monday morning.
And after word got out that the Baby crooner was staying at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Powerscourt, Co Wicklow, there was a mad dash by fans out there to try and spot him.
The Canadian teen was instantly mobbed on leaving his hotel for the second and final night of his sell-out gig, but was more than happy to stop to sign autographs and pose for pics with fans.
The teenager has been here since last Sunday but has managed to keep a low profile and avoid getting "papped".
He'll bring his My World tour to Liverpool tonight and then perform two dates in Greenwich on March 14 and 16 next week.
